I have been to London. I have seen a lot of interesting places there: Big Ben, London Eye, St Paul’s Cathedral, Westminster Abbey and many others. I have taken a lot of amazing photos. I have learnt that English people have a sentimental love for their old customs and traditions. I have heard a lot of different languages in London. I have bought many nice souvenirs for my friends and relatives. I have met the Yeoman-Warders, but I haven’t met the Queen. I have understood that London is very old, big and cosmopolitan city.

I want to describe my native city which is called Kharkiv. It is one of the most beautiful cities in Ukraine. More than 1 million people live there. Kharkiv is famous for its monuments, high buildings, museums, hotels and theatres. I can’t but say about such places as Gorky Park, Shevchenko Garden and Freedom Square. I strongly recommend you to visit it.

Taras has expected that English people are reserved, polite and wellmannered. Taras hasn’t expected London to be so international with so many people from different parts of the world. Students from all over the world come to study English in London. Taras has understood that at bus stops and cinemas, in shops, banks and post offices and in lots of other places he had to join the queue and wait for his turn. He has learnt that the Englishmen are great home lovers. They have got their own houses, they are fond of gardening and keep lawns and trees near their houses neat and beautiful.
He has enjoyed his stay in the UK.
